Hi All,

Been busy learning how to use my new MAC Book Pro so that I can put up alot more pics and now some mini movies!

Ava’s cranky period ended (thankfully) and she is back to her old self… happy and as cute as can be.  She does like to stay awake during the day now (alot) but hey better the day than at night!  I am putting up a bunch of new pics and will be better at adding new ones  now that I have my own little camera and not Michael’s big one that has way too many gadets to try and figure out.

Well this week our little pumpkin was very cranky however this is very common and should start to taper off in the next week.  Ava  really likes to have a change of pace she no longer likes her beautiful super fancy bassinet  anymore.  Now she prefers to be in the baby sling which is something I wear across my chest and carry her around with me.  It is really funny she looks like she is in a kangaroo pouch!  We will get some pics up so you can see it!

Hi All,

Michael came back from Australia on Thursday 3 days earlier than expected we were soooo happy to see him!!!  Daddy could not believe how much his little girl  had changed in the 19 days he was gone.  Ava Elizabeth is going into her 6th week this coming week and she is really coming into her own.  She laughs at us, she can recognize us & she is desperatley trying to hold up her head but she really will not be able to do that until about 4 months.  I had to retire some of her newborn onsies about a week ago she no longer fit into them!!!  That is ok because we have tons of other clothes that we receieved from all the generous gifts everyone gave to our little pumpkin.  Tuesday Grandpa Randazzo will be going home he was such an amazing help while Michael was gone and we are going to miss having him around and I know Ava Elizabeth is going to miss her daily walks and time with Grandpa as well.

Ava Elizabeth had her 3 week Dr.’s appointment last week and she is now 8lbs and 1.6 oz!  She gained just over a pound in 3 weeks and she also grew 1 inch!  The doctor says she is a healthy, strong baby!  God has really blessed us.  Grandpa Randazzo and I are having lots of fun seeing her change each day we can even get her to smile and give a little laugh.  I cannot belive how fast they grow….I guess this is why we have more— BABIES are just tooooo CUTE!! check out the new pics.

I cannot believe it she has been here for 3 weeks and so much has changed in such a short period of time.  Ava is starting to focus and see things and she is learning how to use her arms and legs more, when she wakes up she does a cute little stretch and yawn and rubs her eyes…..it is really tooooo cute.  Sometimes she lets out a little gas (that is when she reminds me of her dad! hahaha) She must be eating well because she has definatley gotten heavier.  We go to her doctors appointment tomorrow so i can find out how much she has grown and the other 1 million questions I have about a new baby that you don’t think of until you actually have one!!!  Check out the new pics !

We went to Costco today!!!  This was little Ava’s first intoduction to the outside world.  We got to use the stoller for the first time and she loved it…. went right to sleep! Thanks to grandpa Randazzo we now have a grasp on how to use all of the baby gear required to be mobile with a newborn.  We look forward to more trips.  Hopefully today since it is soooo nice out this will be Ava’s first walk on the beach!!!!  Don’t forget to check the galery every few days we have some new pics up!!!

Hi Everyone,  Thanks again for all the prayers, well wishes and compliments galore!!!  Little  Ava is an Angel or as Grandma Randazzo likes to call her “Baby Angel”.  She is a good eater and a good sleeper.  She only has me up once in the middle of the night(each night)……. so  cross your fingers and say your prayers for me that this keeps up. Having a little girl really is so special and a true gift from God.  Michael and I just stare at her in awe that she is ours and soooo perfect.  Life does not get any better than this.  For those of you who heard Michael say how he was not ready for a girl Well you should see him gooing and cooing and kissing his little girl all day long!!!!

Ava Elizabeth was born on August 11th, 2009 @ 9:01 am, weighing in @ 7 pounds 4 ounces!

Hi All,

Today I am officailly 1 day late but the good news is my doctor told me that the baby is in position and it is suppose to be and my body has began it’s very necessary prepartation in order for the baby to make its grand entrance.  My docotors feeling was in the next few days we should be having a baby….YEAH !!!!!!!!!!!!  I have been diligently walking ,getting massages and accupressure….SO today I am going to be kicking it up a notch.  All the grandparents are here and anxiously waiting.  Those of you who have not made predicitions you still have time!!!!

Hi All,

Sorry I have not posted in a while, I have been kind of busy getting prepared for the big day.  I believe that “nesting” instinct has officially kicked in because I have been organizing and preparing and thinking of all of the little things that need to be done ahead of time.  I am generally an organized person who likes to wait until I have  less than a day to be prepared for something then I spring into action, my current physical condition does not allow for those types of  liberty’s anymore. Now I am learning to be in “Mommy Mode” (MM i will call it)… that is when you are constantly anticipating and planning and preparing for what ever may come your way next. 

Thanks to everyone who has made there predicitons so far they are really fun to read, for those of you who have not made a prediciton yet you best hop to it  because when I hit my 37 th week at any moment after that the  baby can arrive and for those of you who don’t know ………..I am not in anyway going to let this baby come late!  The Grandparents are all arriving in LA LA land on the 29th and 3oth so you can bet that I will be doing a lot of stair climbing & walking and maybe even hang from the ceiling with some gravity boots if I have too (just kidding)  12 hours prior to their arrival so that we can finally meet this little rascal who I think almost broke one of my ribs last night while I was sleeping. 

The picture I have posted is of a Charity Event a friend of ours invited us to go to last weekend in Laguna Nigel, CA.  Michael asked the photog who was doing “red carpet” type photos to take one of us for FUN!  We are enjoying our last few weekends of baby free life!
