how time flys we cannot believe it! Ava is doing the most adorable things we cannot stop staring at her, what a great age this is… now the real fun starts.  She was holding her head up at 3 months and just shy of her 4 month b-day she started rolling herself over onto her belly.  She cannot make it back the other way but she certainly tries hard…. she has a lot of tenacity that is for sure and she is determined to figure it out.  We also went to go see Santa this past weekend and as you can see from the picture she smiled !!!!!!  The photographer was as happy as I was when he got that shot  apparently most of the babies just start to cry when they get on Santa’s lap.  We would like to wish everyone a very MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY AND HEALTHY NEW YEAR!!!

We brought our little girl to NY on the 10th for her  Baptism .  This was Ava’s first plane ride & trip to go see where Mommy and Daddy grew up.  She was an absolute angel on the airplane so much so that everyone who sat around us just kept complimenting us on how great she was and that they could not believe it!!! Thanks to everyone who keeps visiting and enjoying the pics we love to hear your comments and well wishes.  We will be bringing our little princess home to NY on the 10th and I know how excited the grandparents are and so are we!!!!  There is something really special about being able to take your children to the home you grew up in…. it sort of feels like you have come full circle and we are very exctied for Ava Elizabeth even though she has no idea where she is … but babies have great instincts and she will certainly feel the love when she gets there.  Ava Elizabeth had a visit with her west coast relatives today in Thousand Oaks, CA; Michael’s cousins on his mothers side, the Murphy’s .. we had a wonderful brunch and Ava got to meet her newest cousin and the newest addition to the Murphy Clan little Troy Patrick.

We went to the doctor last week and Ava Elizabeth is now 10 lbs. and is 24.25 inches long!!!  She is one tall baby, I guess she is going to be tall just like her Daddy, Uncle Jamey & Grandpa P.  We are so excited to bring her to NY next month to meet everyone.  See you soon, check out all the new pics!
